My name is Sara and I trained as a Soft Tissue Therapist with the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM), qualifying with a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. I am also qualified in taping and strapping and Indian Head Massage. I  am a fully accredited and insured member of the Institute of Sports & Remedial Medicine (ISRM). In addition I am fully trained in Emergency First Aid at Work .  I am based in Southampton, Hampshire, easily accessible for the city centre and surrounding areas.

I have always received and benefitted greatly from regular massage. But it was after waking one morning unable to move my neck, that I really discovered the benefits of Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy. After two sessions my neck was fixed, and I found myself interested in the treatment and techniques I received and how they compared to other treatments that had not worked. This inspired me to seek a qualification that would enable me to treat people with musculoskeletal pain or injuries and to really make a difference to people suffering from the stresses and strains of everyday life.

Through my own experience, I know how both our working environment and day-to-day activities can put our bodies under immense strain and pressure, causing dysfunction and postural issues. Soft Tissue Massage can alleviate these symptoms, enabling you to continue doing the things you enjoy.

As a ex volleyball player, I know the importance of keeping the body in good condition for sport as well as the importance of effective and professional rehabilitation. I regularly treat conditions such as plantar fasciitis, ankle sprain rehabilitation, knee pain, lower back pain, shoulder dysfunction, hamstring strain, neck issues, broken collar bone rehabilitation, frozen shoulder and many more.

My most recent qualification was to become an MSTR® McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release Practitioner.  This technique can reduce pain and restore sensitivity to scars and their surrounding tissues.  Scars may also visibly change, being less noticeable and smoother to the touch.  I have worked on scars from breast cancer surgery, knee surgery c-section scars and scars from cyst removal.

I thoroughly enjoy using my toolbox of techniques to tailor unique massages for my clients’ needs.

Thank you for visit
